Stages 3 & 4 of the poetry unit based on 'Where the Forest Once Stood' by Julie Hare.

An illusive cuttlefish, a frustrated sparklemuffin, an alarmingly large tangle of toads and an assassin snail wait eagerly for you, within these pages. A stirring collection of poems to be read aloud or read aquiet. From tankas to letters and everything in-between, this lyrical exploration of the natural world is both a celebration and an appeal to the young to stand up and to grasp hope. You are mightier than you know.
