David and Tucky are evacuated to the countryside during World War 2 and the world feels like it is a long way away. One night, they are awoken by machine gun fire and the once familiar crumps of bombings miles away, their peaceful life away from the city is shattered when a German bomber crashes nearby. The boys are first to the scene and they feel that they should hate the airmen inside but one of them saves David’s life. Is he friend or foe?
